Experience You Can Trust
After Lisa earned her Associate Degree in Public Service, she began her legal career as a paralegal, helping clients navigate our judicial system. When her son Peyton was born in 2008, Lisa briefly put her job on hold to take care of him. But it was the following year when Lisa began her part-time service with the Lexington Clerk of Court’s Office when she found her true calling and a career she was passionate about. Lisa’s hard work and dedication got her a promotion to a full-time position after only a month of working for the office. Five months later she continued her steady rise with a promotion to Non-Jury Clerk/Back up Supervisor for Common Pleas. Here Lisa was able to participate in court room activities which fueled her passion for the judicial system. In 2013, Lisa was offered and accepted a position in the Aiken County Clerk of Court’s office as a Deputy Clerk for Common Pleas. This job presented a new set of challenges that allowed Lisa to learn even more of the day to day operations of the court system.
Lisa has many years of experience with the Clerk of Courts office, most of which was right here in Lexington. She loves the judicial system and working with everyone in the court house. As your next Clerk of Court Lisa will use her experience to make the office as efficient as possible.
